Taught by Derek Walker and David Wheat What are your super powers? In popular culture, super heroes often look ordinary on the outside, but have something on the inside that gives them abilities far beyond that of normal humans. For the next four Sunday mornings, we’ll be looking at God’s supernatural gift to his children – the Holy Spirit. With God literally living in us, what are we capable of? What happens to us, our church, our unity, and our community when believers come to a deep understanding of the supernatural being dwelling within us? Nothing? Something? Or is everything changed from that moment of realization onward? We’ll strive to answer these questions as we study the Spirit together. As you may recall, we have a special 4-week adult bible class session called Interlude twice a year. From August 22nd through September 12th, Derek Walker and David Wheat will be leading this class on who the Holy Spirit is and how he works in our lives. We will be using plenty of scripture in the study as well as referring to the book, “Forgotten God” by Francis Chan. We hope that you will join us for this challenging and exciting Interlude session on Sunday mornings. You may discover that you do indeed possess supernatural power……

Taught by Michael Lum One Christian writer said it well: "Integrity is what you are when no one is looking". Are you a person of complete integrity in all situations.. or do your decisions change in connection with your environment? How do you make good decisions that honor God at all times in your life? On Wednesday nights we will begin a new study--"Becoming People of Integrity". We will first examine what the Bible says about God's call for holiness and commitment in our lives. Then, we will systematically journey through some "decision points" in the lives of Biblical people to examine (for better or worse) their moments of decision. Our goal in this process is to more clearly understand and answer God's call to holy living--understanding that all areas of life belong to Him and the need to consistently reflect His image in our lives and decisions. To prepare for tonight, think about how would you define integrity?...and read 2 Timothy 2:22.
