Families in God's Word
From the middle school student to the college graduate, from the stay-at-home mom to the CEO, from the church leader to the inmate...we all have questions! When there is no human who can provide an answer, to whom do you turn?
The Bible is the inspired word of God written for the benefit of all humanity (see: 2 Timothy 3:14-17). God so greatly desired a relationship with his children that He recorded His word and activities in a book which has been passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years. Sadly, many people have never taken the opportunity to thoroughly investigate God's word or made daily Bible reading a part of their life.
The purpose of FIGW is to provide an easy opportunity to sit down with your family, spouse, or a friend a couple of times each week and learn together about Christ's trial, death, resurrection, and the early church as recorded in Scripture. The design provides a daily reading (and additional Scriptures), twelve devotionals (two each week for six weeks), and thought provoking questions that connect with the readings. Make a decision to give it a try for six weeks with your family and prepare to be blessed!
